Marcus Vinicius Buschmann is a partner of Buschmann Advogados a law firm with more than 18 years of quality and excellence. Buschmann has a Master in Tax Law (M.Sc) and he has an extensive practice in help foreigner companies and entrepreneurs to do business in Brazil and Latin America. Buschmann is appointed as Highly Regarded Lawyer by International Financial Law Review(IFLR1000) in areas such as Financial and Corporate and Energy and Infrastructure. Marcus also acts as a strategic advisor for business start-up, as well as legal consulting and litigator, anticipating and managing risks for his clients’ operations and assets in Brazil, and above all, providing assertive strategic planning to help all kinds of businesses succeed in the country’s interwoven legal and tax system. Marcus also advises several associations and entities, taking prominent roles in some of them. He was the legal counsel of the Brazil-Russia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism from 2003 to 2011. He is also legal counsel at the Brazilian Naval Construction and Repair Industry and Offshore Syndicate (SINAVAL) since 2008, where he advises on tax, civil, regulatory and international issues. In 2013/2014 Marcus had a great experience participating in a cooperation agreement with Haynes and Boone LLP helping the US and Brazilian Companies in cross-border transactions.
